Endometriosis Treatment Plan

Traditional Asian Medicine (TAM) treats the root cause of disharmony in the body. This treatment protocol method can usually maintain and manage endometriosis in a healthy, non-drug manner in conjunction with Western Modalities of treatment. There is NO known cure for endometriosis but TAM has a profound impact on managing endometriosis and allowing patients to get back to their lives.

Most patients start to experience significant relief from discomfort within about 4-6 weeks and their health keeps getting better over time. The full course of treatment takes eight to twelve months but some tougher cases take longer.

You've got to be ready to commit to the entire length of time, the cost and be patient with the ups and downs of natural treatments.

Over time, these level out.

First Phase of Treatment (3-6 months) focuses on:

-Regulating the menstrual cycle
-Managing and regulating pain throughout the menstrual cycle
-Managing abnormalities in bleeding (excessive bleeding, clots)
-Helping to prepare for any required surgeries and heal from those surgeries
-Improving energy levels and helping to alleviate fatigue
-Finding foods that work for you to lower inflammation
-And finally, controlling flare-ups.

Second Phase of Treatment (3-6 months) focuses on:

-Maintaining cycle regularity
-Fertility (if that is a concern)
-Continuing to manage any lingering pain

Final Phase of Treatment (lifelong) focuses on:

-Treatments to manage any symptoms that arise
-Sustaining wellness

On living with endometriosis:

“I know I might seem like a normal, gorgeous, talented, intelligent, healthy person. But just remember: I also have an 'invisible illness' that can't be seen on the outside. So let it be known that all this takes a lot more effort than you might think or ever imagine.”
