If you've been with me for a while (and if you haven’t and are new, I apologize if the way I sound is harsh, but I am from NJ) you know that it’s been a rough 7 year cycle.

There have been super shitty insurance changes that are far beyond my control. . .

I had to deal with a**hole attorney's (AKA AAs) in my building when I moved in and it took me MONTHS to get them to leave. . .

Then, as if that wasn’t enough, and my body hadn’t already been through the ringer, in some backwards twist of fate, my endometriosis, adenomyosis, and fibroids conspired to kill me all WHILE I was dealing with AAs.

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. . .just when I thought that I could put my sh*t back together. . .Covid descended upon us. Seriously? It took me 2 years to recover and I was already facing financial turmoil and Covid decided to put the nail in the coffin.

Well, I am here to say, I will not let all of this sh*t bury and destroy me.

I am f*cking Wonder Woman.

I have gone down multiple paths to try and turn this around since the surgery in 2017.

Well, 2024 is not going to destroy me. I am pulling out every tool in my toolbox to save my business.

INCLUDING: Kicking it back to 2012, returning to my roots, and adding La Stone Massage back to the online menu visible to everyone.

And I am adding La Stone Massage back to the menu at the same rates as 2012!

I've spent the last year actively trying to find additional work to no success. I am turning all these lemons into lemonade and saving my first baby!

I have crunched numbers again and again. If I were to go in network with BCBS for Acupuncture I would need to see 92 patients a WEEK and work all 52 weeks of the year, and at my age, there is no way I am doing this. Don’t get me wrong, there are practitioners who practice this style. I am just not one of them.

I realized that even if I add La Stone Massage back, at the rates from 2012, it will be less work than going in network for Acupuncture. And it would be better than trying to get a PT job outside of my own clinic.

The end result is to your advantage.

I will also be adding Community Style Acupuncture days/ pop ups for those that don’t need the one on one attention of a typical follow up session. These community Acupuncture pop-ups will be $75 a session. Look for dates in the online scheduling system.

On these Community days you will be able to schedule or walk in. You will receive relaxing points, and be in and out of the clinic in closer to 35 minutes. They’re quickies for those of you that maybe just need a mini tune up, or sessions to supplement your full sessions.

I am nearing 30 years in business and while I love what I do, it isn’t a hobby. I am not going to lie, I care about my family and my future and I absolutely, unapologetically want to make money. I want to go to bed at night knowing that if my car breaks down, or my office needs a repair, or my home, that I won’t be further destroyed.

Have mistakes been made over the last 7 years? Yes, yes I have. I have allowed patients to get away with not paying balances, patients keeping insurance checks, and just all out screwing me over and me taking on their anger at me for wanting to not be some poor, homeless health care provider! Not doing this anymore. If i don’t make money, I can’t stay open and help anyone.

Maybe you think this sounds harsh, but I give SO much love into every treatment I do. I have to make sure I take care of me to continue taking care of you. And I guarantee if you have read this far, you are not one of those that tried to take advantage of me!

I am taking my life back! And I want to live an amazing and f*cking magical life!
